In a forum filled with honor, symbols of hope, and the marks of change, one woman ascended to remarkable heights—not merely to receive applause, but to inscribe a new chapter in the history of Tanzania and the world.

At Rungwe Hotel in Dar es Salaam, before an audience of dignitaries, institutional representatives, peace activists, and international leaders—SACC Dr. Noelia Ansgary Myonga, was officially bestowed the prestigious title of Global Peace Ambassador (AMB) by the Greenling Peace Foundation.

Not just because she succeeded—but because she succeeded at a global level. SACC Dr. Noelia is not a new name in the arenas of leadership, natural resources protection, and community welfare.

But her journey to becoming a Global Peace Ambassador (AMB) is a story of courage, service, wisdom, and determination—a story of a woman who fought not only for her own achievement, but for the future of conservation, her nation, Africa, and the entire world.

Today, her name is enshrined in international honor—as the first woman and first conservation sector officer in Tanzania to hold this esteemed global title.

In the award speech, it was highlighted that her contribution lies not only in environmental protection but in merging Conservation and Peace—two concepts rarely viewed together, yet for her, they have been the pillars of her life and service.

She was recognized for her outstanding contributions to environmental diplomacy, fostering social cohesion, promoting reconciliation between communities and conservation efforts, and advancing the understanding that peace begins with the respect for life—including land, wildlife, forests, rivers, and human beings.

SACC Dr. Noelia, we do not only see a government leader—we see a symbol of a new generation of leadership defined by innovation, ethics, and a spirit of service.

She believes peace is not a speech; it is action. Not a theory; but practice. Not an assessment; but accountability. And today, the world stands witness as she rises—not just as Commissioner, Doctor, or Conservation Specialist—but now as the AMBASSADOR OF GLOBAL PEACE.

Beyond personal honor, this award is testimony that the conservation sector offers far more than wildlife and national parks.

Through her, Tanzania has opened a new window of international diplomacy—where conservation becomes a pillar for building world peace, promoting diplomatic tourism, and positioning our nation globally as a provider of solutions to environmental challenges through harmony, hope, and international cooperation.

SACC Dr. Noelia is living proof of how a woman can uphold great responsibility in a world that constantly demands proof of excellence.

She is a role model for girls who dream of becoming global leaders, for women aspiring to break decision-making boundaries, and for public servants who believe that true service is measured by the joy it brings to society—not by the titles it holds.

She has written history—a journey not measured by rank, but by impact. Today, we proclaim with a voice of hope, gratitude, and respect: She is the SIMILE woman who told the world that Tanzania has a voice of peace.

The conservation sector has its ambassador and female  has proven—she can lead, she can build peace, and she can carry the flag of the nation on the world’s grandest stages.

At the event, TANAPA Conservation Commissioner Alhaji Musa N.K. Juma was commended for leading the organization well and receiving the first ever female employee award "TANAPA HOME FOR A PRIZE".
